Accessibility statement

1. Our commitment

Ocularniva B.V. wants everyone to find information about our Amsterdam recording studio and reach us regardless of disability, device or assistive technology. This statement covers ocularniva.click and practical arrangements for visiting Kinkerstraat 127.

We follow developments in European accessibility law and Dutch digital accessibility rules where they apply to us.

2. Scope

This statement applies to the bilingual website ocularniva.click (Dutch and English), including services, the guides, FAQ and legal pages such as privacy policy and cookie policy.

Offline deliverables (invoices by email, raw podcast files) are agreed separately and are not covered here.

3. Standard and target level

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as our target. That includes sufficient contrast, text alternatives for images, logical headings, visible keyboard focus and forms with linked labels and errors.

We cannot promise perfect conformance at every moment, but we treat reported barriers as priority fixes.

4. Measures on the website

• Semantic HTML with one main landmark per page and a skip link to content.
• Alt text for studio photos served from ocularniva.click.
• Cookie banner with equally weighted buttons and settings operable without a mouse.
• Contact form with clearly marked required fields; see contact.
• Language switch between Dutch and English in the header.
• Motion respects prefers-reduced-motion where supported.

We regularly check keyboard navigation and contrast when layout or content changes.

5. Known limitations

The map on the contact page uses OpenStreetMap; the third-party interactive map may have its own barriers. Address, hours (Tuesday to Saturday 09:00–21:00, closed Monday and Sunday. Sessions by appointment only.) and directions are also plain text: Trams 13 and 16 run along the Kinkerstraat; get off at Bilderdijkstraat and walk about five minutes to number 127. From Amsterdam Centraal it is roughly 25 minutes on tram 13 towards Geuzenveld. You can park bikes in front of the building; on-street car parking in Oud-West is paid..

Files clients send us are not checked for accessibility; ask for another format if needed.

When you report an issue, include the page URL and browser or assistive tech so we can reproduce it.

6. Physical access to the studio

We are at Kinkerstraat 127, 1053 EJ Amsterdam (Oud-West). Trams 13 and 16 run along the Kinkerstraat; get off at Bilderdijkstraat and walk about five minutes to number 127. From Amsterdam Centraal it is roughly 25 minutes on tram 13 towards Geuzenveld. You can park bikes in front of the building; on-street car parking in Oud-West is paid. Inside, the live room is about 42 m²; the vocal booth is compact (around 8 m²). Tell us in advance if you need seating, breaks or other arrangements — we will find a workable setup within safety and acoustics.

Podcast tables fit up to 3 guests plus host; for limited mobility we can discuss seating before Podcast recording.

8. Enforcement and updates

Consumers may contact relevant Dutch supervisors for unresolved digital accessibility disputes, depending on the service type. We prefer working with you directly.
